As we begin Advent, we begin a journey that will bring us closer to the Lord.
Preparation is the key. Runners know the value of pacing themselves.
They run step by step, mile by mile.
We need to approach Advent with this sense of patience.
All it takes is a few steps each day to bring us closer to our goal,
while an all-out sprint will leave us exhausted and frustrated.
