Running in Boston

"Winning has nothing to do with racing. Most days don't even have races anyway. Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up."

~ Amby Burfoot, The Runner's Guide to the Meaning of Life

We also had the opportunity to meet Amby Burfoot. Another inspiring and humble runner. What an honor to run with a legendary runner and Runner's World writer ...the 1968 winner of the Boston Marathon. He advised us Wisconsin women to "Enjoy the experience!" :)
